If you give a mark out of a total per question (e.g. Q1 worth 3 marks, Q2 worth 5), it's a test/quiz · even if it's called an exam. If you judge work against band descriptors (one rubric for a whole essay, OR one rubric per question on a banded exam), it's the bands option. You can switch later.
